I love it when friends can come to your home, help themselves to their own food and drinks, chill on the lawn and don't care when your toilet hasn't been scrubbed in a while.
I appreciate that in a friend. It frees me up for much better conversation, which we always have a lot of!
I am lucky to have friends with kids that are Patrick's friends as well. 
We have an unspoken understanding of what each other is going through while learning from one another as we go.
We are lucky indeed!
