Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Bliss visited this weekend. Patrick has had a tough week full of crankiness, but was just an angel this weekend. I think he just wanted some new company to have as entertainment. Mommy and Daddy were sure glad he was doing better. A full week with lots of crying was enough to make mommy pull her hair out!

First Twins Game

As a father's day gift to Ryan I got our family tickets to the Twins game. It was an adventure with a 2month old, but Patrick did really well. It is nice to know we can do things out of the ordinary and make it work with our new family of 3.

Hangin'

Miles came to play this weekend. Here we are just "hangin'" out.

If these don't make you laugh...

Enjoy these great faces that Patrick has made recently.

He is getting stronger everyday. He has taken to rolling from his back to his side now and sleeps on his side as well. He enjoys standing most of the time and holding his head up to look around. He is smiling much more and even including a giggle from time to time. So fun to watch and be a part of.

Highlights of the last week

Patrick enjoyed a visit from his uncle Tony this week.

Look who has perfected rolling over from tummy to back!

Visit from Shay

Spending some time in the sunshine outside

Patrick has continued to entertain us with new tricks each day. He keeps his head up all the time while on his tummy now, he also enjoys standing for long periods of time. He even kept his head up yesterday while I lifted him by his arms. He is really finding his words and vois. Ah-Goo is a favorite phrase and will repeat it when prompted at times. So fun!!

2 months

Patrick turns 2 this week, well 2 months that is. He has really changed a lot this month. He is cooing and gurgling all the time now. His smiles are priceless and we all get so excited when they come out. It is so active now, kicking his legs and waving his arms around when he gets excited. At his 2 month check-up today he weighed almost 12.5 pounds and was 22 inches long. He is in the 75% for weight and 25% for hieght. Short and fat but his head was larger so smart as well! He is doing a great job at holding his head up and standing for long periods of time. He has rolled over numerous times from tummy to back so we are pretty sure it is more than just luck. Hope you have all enjoyed the updates thus far. Leave a comment, Patrick will have fun reading them some day!

You can compare his 1 month and 3 day pictures:

Roll over

Ok, this video is a little late but thought I'd share anyway. Here is proof that Patrick rolled over at only 6 weeks! Genius? Future Harvard Grad? I'd say so!

Smiles, Coos and Yawns

Patrick really enjoys his mornings and I do to when he gives me lots of smiles, coos and Yawns. It makes waking up much easier. Last night we had a great night with Patrick only waking once between 11:30 and 7:30!

Sunday Best

This morning our family woke up bright and early, got dressed in our Sunday finest and set out for church. When we arrived, we realized that we were an hour late and that church was now on the summer schedule. So what to do? Take pictures!
