Patrick is 5 months old! Wow, how he has grown. Here are some highlights this month.
~16 lbs 11 oz (up from 14lbs, 14oz last month)
~Patrick found his toes this month. Not only did he find them, but he also likes to chew on his socks/toes and take his socks off so he can chew on them some more.
~Patrick really likes to play with toys. He grabs at them, switches them between his hands and chews on them. He knows what he likes and is only happy when he gets the ones that he wants and gets more frustrated when they don't do what he wants.
~Patrick considers anything within reach a "toy". Forks, plates, napkins, hair, shirts, food. He lunges towards it and with pretty good aim, grabs it and promptly sticks it in his mouth. Last night it was salsa on the table. Boy did he look funny covered in salsa.
~Rolling over??? that was so 3 months ago! yep, nothing. Apparently a couple people have found him on his back from his tummy, but we have yet to catch him. He does roll a lot from side to side, so we are thinking any day now.
~Sleep?? what's that? ok, last night was good with him only waking up once from 10:00-7:30, but most nights seem to be 2-3 feedings. He doesn't wake up, but just enough to eat.
~Patrick loves jumping. He has a jumparoo that he enjoys, but mostly just tries to jump out of our arms.
~Patrick is pretty vocal, he doesn't cry much but he does talk a lot (baba gaga, ahhh, oohh). Lately he has been "singing" in the car to the radio. Such an improvement over crying everytime we went anywhere.
Note: check out bunnies' matted fur...She is beginning her journey to becoming "real"
