Week in review

We had a super busy week, so this will be a little picture heavy.
Last thursday I decided to take my two kids and Allison's three to the Como Zoo. It was hot hot hot, but we made the best of it anyway.

It was so great for Patrick to enjoy time with his cousins, Annika loved the time as well!

Then on Saturday we spent another hot day out at the county fair. They had a petting zoo along with a baby animal section. So fun for the kiddos.



Then Sunday brought us one more hot hot day out at the lake with the Carroll family.

Patrick was a little unsure of a fast boat, GB's isn't that fast!
Like mother like daughters! ;)

Shay and Alyssa were over the other day. The kids had a good time together, and of course by the end of the night no one wanted to leave!

They were all moving the entire time!

Always my little observer. I just love how he tucks back his hands and just take everything in.

Patrick and Shay have been hanging out at Gymnastics every week. They are now finished up, but we enjoy our time together. So this means playdates!
3 is such a funny age. I don't know if it is a boy thing, but Patrick has to be moving all. the. time.

Shay and Patrick had a blast jumping on our chair. This is why we don't buy expensive furniture!

the little girls enjoyed their time as well. Although I think Annika enjoyed the car rides a little more than Alyssa!

It appears that there is another photog in the house.
Shay and Alyssa came over to play and Patrick insisted that we play "picture" I think he is getting the hang of this thing, maybe next year I'll let him work a wedding with me!


The big kids stepped aside so we could get some of the little girls together. so cute!

We had a fun night at the park last night. The kids were great and they didn't mind the mosquitos nearly as much as the parents did!





And of course the super dads and one super mom!

Annika was there as well, just didn't make the photo cut this time! So, here are a couple of her from yesterday...

We had Rachel's family over for dinner the other night. Crazy how when we are all together we are a party of 8!
It took us 3 strollers to get to the park.

First bath and other random notes

Annika's cord finally fell off yesterday so we were able to give her her first bath. The whole family was there (including the cat!) Patrick especially loved helping.


Patrick is also very into diaper changes lately and can't wait to see Annika's "icky poopies"

He is really good with his little sister. He even let her sit on his "b" with him, which is a very big deal!

Finally Annika gets some daddy time! And my little second shooter is there to capture it!
