Last moments in our home

So, this past week we made the big leap to a new home. It was so bitter sweet leaving behind the space we brought our babies home to. Ryan and I danced in our empty living room that last night and soaked in all the memories we could. Patrick loved helping the guys move our things and was a big help. ;) Annika asked the first night in our new space when we would be going home. ugg. gut wrenching. Before we left, I had a photographer come and capture some of our favorite activities as a family in our old house.

Let them pick out a kitten
Let them help decorate their bedrooms

Dance and play in the fresh snow!









Lately:
Annika loves her babies, bugging her brother, dressing herself, requesting only 1 pony tail in the back of her head, showing her beautiful independent self, helping mommy, and requesting mommy snuggles every minute of the day.

Patrick loves his construction stuff, gets sad when his sister bugs him, loves being silly and making others laugh, playing out in the snow, sledding, getting his own breakfast, combing his own hair so it is flat like daddy's and snuggling up in the afternoons to watch his favorite shows on netflix (bob the builder, chuck the truck, busytown and thomas the train)

Christmas time!

We got our Christmas decorations out last weekend. The kids have been beyond excited about Christmas this year, we are going to have super fun! Everytime Annika sees Christmas lights she says "Christams time!"

Patrick's last day

Patrick switched to a new preschool this morning. I visited with him on this last day of class at the other preschool. Shot this little video!

Annika woke up this morning and when we told her it was Halloween I'm pretty sure she about fell off her chair she was so excited. That girl loves sweets, this is her day!

First day of preschool

Patrick started his first day at Kingdom kids preschool today. He was so excited. He helped make his lunch, got dressed in record time and was out the door. He even set up the chair in the perfect spot for photos at our house! He walked right in and seemed to know the routine already. We left with a big hug and kiss. So excited for this next chapter in his little life!

Annika is 2!

Annika was so excited for her party, she would sing "happy birthday" all the time in the days leading up to it.





At 2, Annika loves playing baby dolls. She likes to change their diaper all day long because they are "poopy" Either BIG poopy or baby poopy. ;) She likes to play silly games with her brother. They take babies on "walks" to the kitchen. She loves to play in the sink and wash dishes. She loves to put on lotion and asks every time we are in the bathroom. Patrick and her enjoy dancing and just being silly together.
