5 months!

Miss Annika is 5 months old this week. She is getting to be such a grown up little baby. She appears to be ahead of Patrick by about a month in most things that she does. For example check out her first photoshoot sitting up! (4month photo on the right)

I can't get enough of this age. She smiles for anyone all the time and her giggles are the best!

She even scooted backwards tonight. We can't eat with her much anymore since she is grabbing at anything on the table. She'll soon be ready for food, but we'll try to keep her a baby as long as we can!

New bathroom!

Well, only about 2 months later and we are finally finished. It all started out with a slow moving drain in our tub. We had a plumber take a look and fix the old drum trap only to find that there was still a soggy ceiling in our downstairs bathroom. Traced it back to some bad grout. Friend of our does tile and offered to fix the grout for us. Well, while he was scraping out the old grout he discovered our entire wall in our shower was shot. So, we opted to replace the tile and cement board. Since our whole bathroom was matching tile, this meant a complete overhaul. Not really expected on my first week back at work!
Here is the progress:

This entire project was complete entertainment for Patrick. He was in heaven with all the action and tools involved. We still have to play "fixin' water pipes" with him. On this day he decided to pull up a chair, grab a glass of milk and take in the action.

Home with mom

I enjoyed some kid time while Ryan traveled out of town for his uncle's funeral. We had some fun!
Patrick begged me to go out in the snow. He had a good time turning his lawn mower into a snow blower!

Annika sat by and watched.
