So Annika has been showing an interest in the potty already. Probably mostly because she sees everyone else in the family doing it, so why not? The other day she said "poop" and led daddy upstairs where she proceeded to get out the potty seat, set it on the toilet and ask for her clothes off. Then Ryan got her up and guess what? she went! Then Patrick decided to be the good big brother and take over "holding" duties. She is too little and gets scared she will fall in, so in a very reassuring and encouraging voice Patrick helped her out.

Fresh snowfall

As I reflect on our hectic Christmas week and stare at the brown landscape outside I realized I hadn't shared these wonderful snowy photos yet. Enjoy my babes in snow.


Annika and I were still recovering from our yucky flu stuffs, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph them in the lovely snowfall.

My poor babe is sick. After Patrick and Ryan having strep a couple weeks ago to now Annika getting sick, I am already sick of this season. Ugg. Here is a little video we shot together, oh did I mention I look like crap because I am also home sick? yuck.
