Patrick did his first drawing last week. He drew the head first, then the eyes, then added knees and pants (scribbles), then arms last. I am one proud mama for sure!
I know I should talk about our awesome day at the orchard, but I also want to give an "i have the best kids" update. So, here are some pumpkin pictures scattered in with updates:
Patrick is 3.5 years old. I can really start to see the difference between 3 and 4 now though. He is much closer to 4 all of a sudden.

He is most always on the move. Many times though he'll stop and hug me for a long time and say "i love you mommy" Melts my heart every time. The other morning we were being lazy in bed and Patrick says I love you. I say " I love you more than the clouds in the sky" Patrick answers. " I love you more than Squirrels, am I silly mama?" yes, indeed.

He is so smart and retains so much information. The other day he saw a toy in a store. He hadn't seen that toy for months, but remembered it as one that a friend had given us that we put away the same day we got it. He also knows cars super well. He can pick out the make/model/color. He doesn't know the real names, but does know who's car it looks just like or sort of like. He is right just about every time. He is really into art lately. Loves to paint, cut, glue and create. Such an imagination as well. His little jokes just crack me up!

We took him to Sunday school for the first time a couple weeks ago. He just said "mommy, you drop me off, I go all by myself" I just loved his confidence, but heck if I wasn't walking him to he classroom!

Miss Annika. She is still our little peanut at only 18lbs and almost 15months old!

She got her first haircut this past week. (photos soon!)

She has so much personality in that little package. Her comprehension is just amazing. She understands complex directions and has her own opinions. The other day I tried to put her shoes on. She fussed and fussed to get them off. She then pointed at a different pair that she wanted to wear instead. Already picking out her own shoes!

She will copy many things that Patrick does, but also do her own things as well. Her list of words includes:
mama
dada
hi
bye bye
and now: tickle and basket ball. The girl loves balls!

I am pretty smitten with both my kids!
