Easter day

What a gorgeous day we had for Easter this year. We woke up with Patrick enjoying his basket from the Easter bunny, then we went off to church dressed in our Sunday best. We had the pleasure of sitting next to family and Sophia so that was a real treat that made the service fly by!



Then Patrick enjoyed an easter egg hunt outside at the church with cousins, Madison, Caden and Luke. We came back to find more Easter eggs at our house. Patrick found one with some coins and a dollar bill inside. He immediately ran to find his Piggy bank to put the coins in. He wasn't as excited about putting the doller in though and instead ran to the garbage to through it away! Silly boy didn't know that it was more than just paper!


We did get in a couple family photos before dinner. And then enjoyed lots of food, fun and even walking outside that afternoon. Patrick was so sleepy on our walk that he got out of the stroller, put his blankie on the sidewalk and laid down on it. Funny kid.

Spring has sprung!

Our first flowers bloomed last night. About a week earlier from the years before.

It is fun to see signs of spring in the yard.

And if you ever feel like getting your hands dirty, this little patch takes a lot of work!

The boys enjoyed being out exploring though!

Easter Pics take 2

And we were back in the studio for a few more with P's actual Easter outfit.

He has the whole "hunting for eggs" thing down, but wasn't keen on Kitty playing as well.

25 weeks

(insert photos here!) hopefully I'll get one soon!

We had an appt today with the midwife. All is looking good. I am measuring around 26 weeks so a little ahead, but this can vary week by week. Baby sounded good with heart rate in the 160's. It's a girl according to the old wives tales, then again so was Patrick up until the last week.

The hip pain is all normal, more walking should continue to help. With all the nice weather, we'll take advantage of this while we can!

I am up about 13lbs total (probably the last time I'll actually record my weight!)

Not much else to report, but July is seeming to arrive quickly!

a day out

I love to see what happens in Patrick's day. Today he had a special day and was able to go with his daycare (Tiffany) to Oxbow Park and enjoy the beautiful 70degrees! all the other kids were sick, so they got to do an extra fun outing.

It looked like they had plenty of fun too!

Hoppy Easter! part 1

So Patrick posed for me on some new paper a while back and I decided to snap an Easter photo. There are more to come this week.

Just because

I love my little boy and his creativity. He will go in the closet, find a pair of boots, then grab his hat nearby and just enjoy himself to the fullest. Putting the boots on and off, trying to walk and attempting to keep the kitty from playing with the boot strings.

He has also been so much fun at bedtime lately. The other day we were reading a book and he decided to "read along" with us. It was so sweet to hear him imitating the words that he heard. He will also sing along with us while we are rocking him down. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Wheels on the Bus are still his favorites, but he is also doing very well singing along to the ABC's.

Hopefully I can catch him on video one of these days. Too sweet!
